Kathmandu, April 27: The IME Limited has been honored for bringing in the most remittances.
On the occasion of its 69th anniversary, Nepal Rastra Bank honored IME for having succeeded in bringing in the highest remittance of 27.5 percent among the remittance companies in the financial year 2079/80.
Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari presented a letter of appreciation to Khilendra Paudel, the Chief Executive Officer of IME Limited, in a special ceremony held at Rashtra Bank on Friday.
The NRB has mentioned in the letter of appreciation that the IME has contributed for the inflow of remittances in the country which has helped to the country’s overall economic stability, socio-economic reform, and external sector balance.
Accepting the letter of appreciation, Khilendra Paudel, Chief Executive Officer of IME Limited, said that IME is more excited to provide remittance services with reliable, safe and cutting-edge fintech technology to its customers with this honor.
On the occasion of its anniversary, Nepal Rastra Bank has been honoring the banks and remittance companies that bring in the most remittances.
