The Office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, Prime Minister and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation are named as the defendants in the petition.

“The decision of the Cabinet, the Government of Nepal to scrap the Commission as per Article 133 (2) and (4) of the Constitution of Nepal should be annulled through a certiorari order and it is asked to issue a mandamus order asking for the Commission to function as per laws,” reads the petition.
