Prachanda leaves for Sri Lanka to attend Asian dialogue



Kathmandu, July 15: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), departed for Colombo, Sri Lanka, on Wednesday to participate in the Asian Dialogue organised by the International People’s Assembly.

The three-day dialogue is scheduled to be held from July 16 to 18 and will bring together political leaders and representatives from across Asia to discuss regional and international issues.

Prachanda is accompanied by NCP leaders Balaram Baskota, Baldev Chaudhary, Dama Sharma, Madhav Pant, and Ganga Dahal.

According to Prachanda’s personal secretariat, he is also scheduled to hold courtesy meetings with Sri Lankan President, Prime Minister, the General Secretary of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP), and the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka during his visit.

The visit is expected to focus on strengthening political dialogue and enhancing relations with Sri Lankan political leadership.  #nepal
