Kathmandu, Jan 15: President Ramchandra Paudel has called upon political parties in the federal parliament to swiftly enact the necessary laws for complete implementation of the Constitution.

He expressed concern that the incomplete enforcement of the Constitution has led to frustration among citizens.

During a reception held at Shital Niwas on the occasion of the Maghi festival today, the Head-of- the- State urged political parties in the federal parliament to collectively commit to realizing the implementation of the federal democratic republic system.

While acknowledging that the Constitution has bestowed empowerment upon marginalized, neglected, excluded and disadvantaged communities, President Paudel highlighted that the international community has praised these provisions.

However, he said that these rights are yet to be fully put into practice.

Citing that the citizens of Nepal always lean towards progress rather than regression, he urged everyone to work towards materializing the people’s dream of an inclusive federal republic system.

Vice President Ram Sahay Yadav, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Timilsina, Vice Chair Urmila Aryal, parliamentary party leaders from various parties in the federal parliament, presidents of parliamentary committees, and independently elected lawmakers were present during the event.#Nepal
