Kathmandu, March 30: The Dandapani-Nandakumari Arjyal Memorial National Prize of 2082 BS was conferred on Prof Dr Jayaraj Acharya.
Acharya was honored with the prize for his outstanding contributions of international relations, foreign affairs and diplomacy, and Nepali, English and Sanskrit literary works.
Former Vice Chancellor of Kathmandu University, Prof Dr Suresh Raj Sharma, handed over a purse of Rs 50,000 and a letter of appreciation to Prof Dr Acharya amid a function on Sunday.
The late Dandapani Arjyal was a scholar of history, astrology and culture. #nepal
