Kathmandu, July 15: The University Senate of the Martyr Dasharath Chand University of Health Sciences (MDCUHS) has appointed Prof. Dr. Sunil Kumar Joshi as the university’s Vice Chancellor and Dr. Bhim Bahadur Chand as the Registrar.
The appointments were made during a meeting of the University Senate held on Tuesday.
Earlier, the recommendation committee, led by its convener Prof. Dr. Jayaraj Awasthi, submitted its report to the University Senate through Pro-Chancellor and Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel.
The report included the shortlisted candidates and their qualifications for the two key leadership positions, based on which the Senate made the appointments.
The appointments are expected to provide leadership to the newly established university as it moves forward with its academic, administrative and institutional development. #nepal
