Rasuwa, Oct 26: The Chinese side has intensified its preparations to reopen the Rasuwagadhi-Kerung road started from this coming Monday.
The road had been closed due to heavy rainfall and subsequent landslides that occurred last September 27-28.
Arjun Poudel, the Chief District Officer of Rasuwa, shared that his Chinese counterpart informed him today via telephone that the reconstruction of the road in Chinese territory, which was damaged by the heavy rain, will be completed by Sunday.
Traffic will resume on Monday, Navaraj Dhakal, the Consul General of the Consulate General Office of Nepal in Lhasa, has been instrumental in facilitating trade and business between Nepal and China by helping to resume the obstructed traffic. #nepal #china #kerung
