RSP calls central committee meeting to discuss by-election

Kathmandu, Nov 8: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) central committee will hold a meeting at the party’s central office in Balaju tomorrow. The party’s Joint General-Secretary, Mr Kabindra Burlakoti, said that the meeting will focus on the upcoming by-election and other current issues.

“We will be participating in the by-election scheduled for December 1 at the local level. We will have in-depth discussions regarding our preparations for the by-election and national political issues,” he said.

Mr Burlakoti mentioned that the central committee meeting will also address current events, political and organizational matters of the party, and other relevant issues.

Currently, Rabi Lamichhane, the President of RSP, is in police detention in Kaski for an alleged embezzlement of cooperative funds and a money laundering case. The supporters and followers of Rabi Lamichhane have been protesting against his detention, claiming that it was politically motivated. #RSP #nepal #politics
