Kathmandu, Aug 16: There was a severe flood this afternoon at Thame village and downstream areas located in Khumbu Pasanglhamu rural municipality-5.
It is said that a hotel and two houses in Thame village were swept away by the flood.
Nepal Army, Nepal Police and locals have been mobilized to rescue of the possible victims. However, no information regarding the casualties emerged.
The disaster management and ministry of home affairs have issued warnings to the residents of lower Dudhkoshi river bank.
