KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation has formed a task force to investigate the incident of technical glitches on the Guna Airlines flight.
A four-member investigation task force has been formed under the coordination of senior aviation safety inspector Captain Dadhiram Niraula, according to spokesperson of the ministry joint secretary Tokraj Pandey.
The members of the task force are Engineer at MoCTCA Nasib Acharya, Cabin Crew Inspector at Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal Savitri Shrestha Rai and Aeronautical Engineer at CAAN Ritesh Raj Pant.
The task force has been tasked to find out the facts of the incident and submit a report within three days with suggestions on steps to be taken to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.
It may be noted that the door of the Guna Airlines plane flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara opened mid-air on January 16 and had to be returned back to the capital.
