Three die of COVID-19 in Dharan

Itahari: Three persons died of COVID-19 here in the last twenty four hours. They were treated at the corona hospital at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) in Dharan.

The deceased include a 64-year-old man from Duhabi, Sunsari; a 61-year-old woman from Dhankuta and another woman of unidentified age from Dharan-8.

The 64-year-old man, who was admitted to the hospital on September 30 after contracting the infection, was suffering from kidney problems.

The 61-year-old woman was suffering from diabetes. Similarly, another woman was referred by Dhankuta Hospital and was admitted to the hospital on October 2, according to said Dr Ashish Shrestha, Co-Spokesperson at the BPKIHS.

Nepali Army would manage dead bodies, he added.
