Siraha, July 2: Two boys died after drowning in a pond at Naraha rural municipality-3 in the district.
They are six-year old Rahul Mandal, the son of local Sushil Mandal and his eight-year-old nephew, Ashish Mandal. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Muktinath Sapkota, sad the boys were missing from yesterday and found dead in the pond belonging to a local Basanta Yadav this morning.
The bodies have been kept at Provincial Hospital Siraha for post mortem and further investigation into the incident was underway, he added.
