Two trucks collided at Dumkauli in Nawalparasi, drivers killed



PARASI: Two truck drivers have died when they collided with each other at Dumkauli of Purba Nawalparasi on the East-West Highway. Two persons have been injured in the accident.

The trucks (Na 6 Kha 3011 and Na 7 Kha 7023) had collided with each other at 12 mid-night on Monday night. The truck driver (No. 3011) was killed in the accident. The deceased have been identified as Khim Bahadur BK, 51, and Raj Kumar Neupane, 35, of Makwanpurgadhi village, according to the Area Police Office, Razahar.

Both the drivers died at the District Hospital Danda around 3 this morning.

The co-drivers of both the trucks have been injured in the accident. The injured have been identified as Bishwas Shahi, 18, of Bandipur in Tanahu and Ghanshyam Khadka of Dang. The condition of both of them is critical and they have been sent to the old medical college in Chitwan for treatment, said Razahar Police.
