Weather remains fair from today



Kathmandu: Weather affected by the influence of westerly low pressure wind for the past few days is being improved from today, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Meteorologist Manju Basi said the weather will remain fair as the westerly low pressure system is no more active in the country from last evening.

There is no possibility of rainfall across the nation today and tomorrow,” added Basi. Although the weather of the Kathmandu Valley was cloudy this morning, it has now become clear and the day would be sunny, it is learnt.

The skies of the central and western part would remain partly to generally cloudy during night while other parts would be clear. 

The Division forecasted that the weather across the country would be clear on Friday and hilly areas of the country would see partly to general cloudy in the afternoon.

Meteorologist  Basi shared that there is possibility of rainfall along with thunderstorm at some parts of the western hilly areas while the weather of central and eastern hilly areas would remain partly to generally cloudy on Saturday as a new weather system would be developed from Saturday.

As per the latest details of the Division, today’s minimum temperature of Kathmandu Valley was recorded 8.8 degree Celsius and 14.1 degree Celsius was the maximum temperature.
