Kathmandu, Dec 19: Water Supply Minister Pradeep Yadav has instructed the relevant bodies to quickly finish the installation of pipelines for supplying water from Melamchi to various locations in the Kathmandu Valley.
Minister Yadav gave this directive after overseeing the pipeline installation works in areas such as Indrachowk, Janabahal, New Road, and Asan today. He emphasized the importance of preventing water leakage.
Noting that water was leaking in many areas due to poor work quality, the Water Supply Minister instructed the officials to repair and maintain locations with water leakage.
Minister Yadav was joined by Water Supply Ministry Secretary Pramila Devi Shakya Bajracharya and senior officials from the Kathmandu Upatyaka Khanepani Limited (KUKL) and Project Implementation Directorate during the inspection and monitoring visit. #nepal #melamchi #water
