Kathmandu, Jan 5: The commission formed to investigate the incidents of September 8 and 9, 2025 has lifted restrictions on former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
According to a notice issued by the commission’s secretariat, the previous order that barred Oli from traveling abroad or leaving the Kathmandu Valley has been revoked.
Earlier, the commission had prohibited Oli from leaving the Valley or traveling abroad without its permission as part of the ongoing investigation.
The commission stated that since the necessary procedures related to the investigation have been completed, the restriction has now been lifted.
To formalize this decision, the commission has communicated it to the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nepal Police Headquarters, and KP Sharma Oli. #nepal #genz
