Kathmandu, Oct 26: A recent drop in gold and silver prices in the international market has had a direct impact on the Nepal’s domestic market as well.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is being traded at Rs 241,900 per tola (11.66 grams) today, while silver stands at Rs 3,015 per tola.
Following the Tihar festival, gold prices have declined by Rs 11,600 per tola, and silver has decreased by Rs 265 per tola. On October 20, the prices were Rs 253,500 per tola for gold and Rs 3,280 per tola for silver.
As per international reports, gold is currently trading at USD 4,111 per ounce, and silver at USD 48 per ounce in the global market. #gold #nepal
