Kathmandu, Jan 19: Dr. Bhisma Kumar Bhusal, a Joint Secretary at the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), has been assigned the role of acting executive chief of the authority.
This decision was made following a ministerial directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs. Dr. Bhusal will serve in this capacity until further arrangements are made.
His appointment aligns with Rule 5 (c) of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Regulations, 2019. The process to appoint a new executive chief is currently underway, as the tenure of former chief Anil Pokharel ended on Poush 1, 2081 BS. #NDRRMA #nepal
