Kathmandu, Nov 30: The hearing on the fake Bhutanese refugee case has ended on Thursday. The hearing took place at Patan High Court, Nepal, since it began on which started on November 21.
Spokesperson of Patan High Court, Tirtharaj Bhattarai, said that the hearing before the bench of Judges Prakash Kharel and Janak Pandey was over today and the verdict may be announced tomorrow.
The hearing was on the review petition filed against the detention order passed by District Court Kathmandu.
Former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, former Home Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey, former Home Ministry Advisor, among others have been put into jail after they found guilty on fake Bhutanese refugee scam. The Kathmandu District Court had earlier sent them to them to the jail.
But they appealed into the Patan High Court arguing that they were innocent, and committed no crime.
