KATHMANDU: The incumbent government has declared nation-wide public holiday on Wednesday on the occasion of Bakra-Eid.

Issuing a notice here on Tuesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the government decided to declare the day as public holiday nation-wide on Bakra-Eid (also known as Eid-ul-Adha).

Muslims observe the festivity with great fervor since it is one of the biggest festivals of the community.
