KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has instructed the party cadres to be more vigilant and dynamic for the upcoming House of Representatives election.

Addressing a gathering of cadres associated with the Federation of Nepal Trade Unions on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli directed the cadres to be very vigilant and dynamic as elections are being held in May.

He said that more work and more campaigns should be carried out in the remaining three months as there is a life and death situation to drive the nation.

Prime Minister Oli also reiterated the two phase modality of election. In the first phase, election may be in Province 2, Gandaki Pradesh, Lumbini Pradesh and Far Western Pradesh and in the second phase, Province 1, Bagmati and Karnali Province. However, no decision has been made in this regard.

Prime Minister Oli claimed that he had stopped the country from moving towards instability by dissolution of the HoR.

Stating that a cleansing campaign has been launched in the party, he claimed that the party’s distortion, inconsistency, anarchy, indiscipline and selfish tendencies have come to an end. He said that the party has moved forward more united with one idea and one concept.

Prime Minister Oli said that there was an attempt to forcibly divide the labor movement and that a united labor movement should be formed without allowing it to be divided. He again mocked that the Prachanda-Madhav faction of NCP would reach the streets in three months as a civil society leader, not the party leader.
