KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has urged one and all to participate in the further strengthening of the party.

Issuing a press statement today, Chairperson Oli has said that CPN (UML) leadership has not discriminated anyone in the party. “I hereby would like to clarify one and all that there are no discriminatory activities within the party. Therefore, I would like to urge all in the party to come together and move ahead further consolidating the party,” Oli said.

Oli expressed his concern over the activities to topple the party’s government adding that such trends are harmful for the party.

“It is our party; we formed the party. I am confident that no leaders and cadres of this party would be involved in any of the activities that harm the party,” said Oli, also the Prime Minister, in his statement.

Meanwhile, the Madhav Kumar Nepal – Jhalanath Khanal faction of CPN (UML) has strongly objected about the statement issued by Chairman KP Sharma Oli. The statement was biased, anti-unity and divisive, said Yogesh Bhattarai.
