KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of the ruling CPN (UML) and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Gyawali has said that today’s order of the Supreme Court was unexpected.
The Supreme Court has annulled the cabinet expansion by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on June 4 and 10. Gyawali said that the order has taken the national politics to a critical turn.
“The court order is unexpected. This has pushed national politics to a more complex juncture,” he said.
Gyawali said further discussions would be held on the court order.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister Oli has called an emergency cabinet meeting at Baluwatar, PM’s official residence, on Tuesday evening.
