DHANGADHI: The meeting of the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly that was scheduled for today (Wednesday) has been postponed.
Attending Province Assembly members from opposition Nepali Congress and Rastriya Janata Party stood from their seats in protest soon after the meeting began claiming that budget for the fiscal year, 2021/22 was brought by breaching the constitution and Province Assembly rules.
Province Assembly member from the NC Gobinda Raj Bohara claimed that the budget was brought by violating the constitution and Province Assembly rules. He demanded correction in illegal activities showed up in the parliament.
The meeting was expected to deliberate on the budget for the FY, 2021/22.
