DHANGADHI: Twelve people, including a bride and groom, have been injured in a jeep accident at Hirapur under Patan-Khodpe road section of Baitadi district. The condition of two of the injured is critical.
The jeep (01-001 Cha 377) of Sudur Pashchim Province, which was returning from Mahendranagar in Kanchanpur district with a marriage procession, met with an accident at 5:50 this morning.
A spokesperson of the District Police Office, Baitadi, Kishor Airy said that 10 persons were injured in the accident and two others were seriously injured.
According to him, the bride and groom have also been injured in the accident. Their condition is normal. All the injured are undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital in Baitadi.
The jeep has fallen about 100 meters from the road. The incident site is 10 kilometers away from the Area Police Office, Patan.
