LAHAN: Two people have died in different places in Siraha district due to electrocute.
The deceased have been identified as Joginder Sah, 50, of Goth Tol in Lahan Municipality-9 and Dev Narayan Yadav, 45, of Lalpur in Bhagwanpur Municipality-5, police said.
According to the District Police Office, Siraha, Sah, who was critically injured in a 12,000-volt power outage on Monday evening, died on the way to Saptarishi Hospital in Lahan for treatment.
Similarly, Yadav died on the way to Lahan for treatment after he was electrocuted while connecting the meter wire of his house.
